Our goal is “Every member an activist”, and the CEP National Education Program plays a key role in helping us achieve this.  Our education program is among the best in the country, with a variety of courses offered in every region.

Union education provides new union members and activists with the basic knowledge and skills they need, helps more experienced activists and leaders acquire specialised information and abilities and, most importantly, fosters a spirit of solidarity and activism throughout the union.

One reason our friendly and informal courses are so popular is they meet CEP members’ specific needs; they provide members, activists and leaders with knowledge and skills that are of practical use in the workplace and in the community.

I take great pride in our CEP National Education Program.  I also take great pride in the thousands of CEP members who each year dedicate time and effort to learning more about their union roles and responsibilities, to foster activism throughout our union.
