Administrative Vice-President

Welcome to the Province of Ontario. We are home to the largest population in Canada. Our Province spans 415,598 square miles. The CEP Ontario Region covers all locals within the Province of Ontario, some of which are provincially regulated and covered under the Ontario Labour Relations Act, and others that are federally regulated and covered by the Canada Labour Code. The Ontario Region has over 38,000 members in this province alone. Our members work in many different industries such as Media (TV, Radio and Newspaper), Graphics, Printing, Communications (telephone and cable), Pulp & Paper (sawmills and corrugated products), Energy & Chemical, Health Care Services (homes for the aged), Aboriginal  child protection, adult treatment and health care agencies, Credit Unions and many more. We have negotiated some of the best contracts in these industries with employers such as Lakehead Newsprint, Bell, Nexacor, AbitibiBowater, Imperial Oil and Petro Canada to name a few.

The regional officers thank you for visiting the Ontario Region site and encourage you to follow the activities of the Ontario Region.
