TORONTO, Oct. 5, 2014 /CNW/ - The Good Jobs Summit wraps up this morning downtown Toronto with a lively townhall discussion at 10 a.m., bringing together business, labour and student leaders, environmentalists and non-governmental organizations to discuss solutions to job creation right across the country. Each speaker will bring a different point of view on the issue of creating good jobs, including for young workers and students.
The Good Jobs Summit has brought together 1,200 students, workers, business leaders, policy makers, educators and researchers for a weekend summit at Mattamy Athletic Centre (formerly Maple Leaf Gardens), 50 Carlton Street. The goal of the weekend event is to determine a direction for how the government, business, labour and educational institutions can work to create jobs.
